Salsa, bachata and kizomba lessons in the mornings in Málaga

There are many people who would like to take salsa, bachata or kizomba classes in the mornings, an option that is often unusual for them, as we are used to all recreational and sporting activities taking place exclusively in the afternoons.

Kizz Latin Dance has been offering morning dance classes for 12 years now. As a mother of two young children, I realised that I had free time in the mornings, while they were at school or nursery. This led me to think that, like me, there must be others in a similar situation. For that reason, I decided to give salsa, bachata and kizomba dance classes in the mornings a try.

A Glimpse of Our Trajectory

The first challenge was to find the right venue, and I was fortunate that the Atrévete hall came on board and provided us with a large room with mirrors and an exceptional sound system. The first two years were a bit discouraging, since the formation of stable groups was complicated due to the fact that it wasn’t a common thing to do. We had few students, and at certain times we had only two students, and there was even one month when we had only one student.

However, we did not give up. We persisted and, little by little, the pupils joined in. The news spread, and for a few years now, our morning classes have been going strong. We have been able to consolidate enthusiastic and highly motivated groups.

Flexible Schedules to Fit Your Needs
Offering salsa, bachata and kizomba classes in the mornings inspired us to give students with rotating or complicated schedules, such as nurses, supermarket cashiers, security guards, policemen, firemen and hostesses, the opportunity to combine their classes according to their needs. In this way, if required, they can attend one week in the morning and another week in the afternoon, or even one day in the morning and three in the afternoon. In short, it is no longer necessary to miss classes due to challenging schedules.
An Energetic Environment and Strong Groups for Four Years
Nowadays, and although it may seem incredible, from 9:30 in the morning you will find considerably large groups of students from towns such as Coin, Fuengirola, Alhaurín, Málaga, Vélez Málaga, Benalmádena, Arroyo de la Miel and, of course, Torremolinos. All of them are full of energy and continue their day with a big smile, as they have started it dancing.
