Morning Salsa, Bachata, and Kizomba Classes in Málaga
Many individuals express an interest in attending salsa, bachata, or kizomba classes in the morning, a concept they often find surprising. We are accustomed to associating recreational and sports activities with the afternoon. However, for the past eight years, Kizz Latin Dance has been offering dance classes in the morning.
As a mother of two young children, I realized that I had free time in the morning while they were at school or in daycare. I thought that there must be others like me in the same situation. This led me to take a chance and introduce salsa, bachata, and kizomba dance lessons in the morning.
A Brief History to Set the Stage
The initial challenge was finding the right venue. Fortunately, Atrevete Dance Room embraced the project, providing a spacious room with mirrors and an impressive sound system. The first two years were somewhat discouraging as it was not a common offering, and forming a stable group was difficult. I had very few students, with class sizes sometimes dwindling to just two or even one student for a whole month.
However, I persevered, continued to invest in the idea, and gradually, students began to join. Word spread, and for the past four years, our morning classes have been thriving with vibrant, motivated groups.
Flexible Schedules to Suit Your Needs
Offering salsa, bachata, and kizomba classes in the morning allowed me to cater to students with irregular or challenging schedules such as nurses, supermarket employees, security guards, police officers, firefighters, and flight attendants. This flexibility ensures that they can attend classes according to their availability. Whether it’s one week in the morning and the next in the afternoon or any other combination, they no longer have to miss classes due to their demanding schedules.
A Vibrant Atmosphere and Established Groups for Many Years
Believe it or not, from 9:30 in the morning, you’ll find sizable groups of students coming from various locations including Coin, Fuengirola, Alhaurín, Málaga, Vélez Málaga, Benalmádena, Arroyo de la Miel, and, of course, Torremolinos. These enthusiastic students start their day with energy and happiness, all thanks to dancing.
